24 Feb Keben Dam Water Supply Project

The Keben Dam Water Supply Project is proposed to serve Kapsabet town, Nandi Hills, Lessos and Baraton University. The project will involve construction of a 30m high dam, treatment plant of 8,000m3/day and transmission main of 50km to Nandi Hills, Baraton University and Kapsabet Town.

The project is proposed to be procured under Finance Design and Build model. The process of procurement is at an advanced stage and the Commercial Contract is currently with the National Treasury at a cost of Kshs 7.7 Billion for approval of financing agreement.
