The EACC Commissioner Dr. Dabar Maalim advised the participants of the need to always comply with the Government’s guidelines and procedures in all aspects of their work. He emphasized that each and every staff will be responsible for every decision and action taken in their line of duty. He noted that there were a number of public officers who could be suffering for ills they never committed nor understood, but were only acting on instructions and directives from their seniors.
He advised the participants to always be extremely vigilant in their approvals and actions at work. The five days training, he reiterated, would go along way in building the capacity of the participants to understand some of the salient features of corruption in the organization and how to remain safe.
